Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Development Engineer/Project Development Manager will report to and assist VP Project Development in carrying out duties for developing the company’s strategic investment projects in Forestry and Palm, as well as Pulp and Paper:
- Conduct feasibility studies and make presentations and recommendations on development concepts
- Prepare preliminary programmes and budgets
- Prepare development/project briefs
- Prepare documentation work for purpose of gaining shareholders’ approvals, raising capital from debt and equity markets
- Identify strategic partners and markets and negotiating supply and offtake agreements
- Selection and appointment of project consultants and contractors, and coordinate and monitor their work
- Implementation and Management of projects to meet the time, cost and quality objectives
- Co-ordinating among different departments of the Company to achieve shared objectives
- Ad-hoc projects tasked by Company to Project Development Division
- Degree in Engineering (any discipline)
- Minimum 5 years experience in Project Management, preferably in greenfield EPC projects
- Overseas project experience especially in Indonesia will be an added advantage
- Good communications skills
- Self-starter, motivated, requires minimal supervision
- Knowledge of MS software e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint. MS Projects and/or other planning software an added advantage
- Prepared to be based in Indonesia
